Founder/Principal Consultant
Golden Ocean Solutions was founded by Mike Bruno who is a 18 year veteran of the cannabis industry. Prior to beginning his cannabis journey, Mike received a B.A. in environmental science from Northern Arizona University. Shortly after he completed the Sound, Voice and Music Healing program at California Institute of Integral Studies. These two educational endeavors, along with Mike’s extensive industry experience, have allowed him to develop this unique brand of integrative cannabis consulting. As a legacy operator and Cultivation Director in Sonoma County, and Co-owner and COO at Ocean Gold Farms, Mike has multiple levels of experience working in cannabis operations and running a California based business in the most competitive marketplace in the world. Over the last 18 years, Mike has worked with hundreds of different cultivars which has allowed him to form an intimate relationship with the plant and her biology. Throughout this timeline Mike has utilized many different cultivation methods. Early on he worked in hydroponics before learning to love both soil and soil-less mediums. As a commercial indoor cultivator Mike has designed facilities ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 sq ft, utilizing many different lighting, climate and irrigation systems. Most recently, Mike co-owned and operated Ocean Gold Farms, a licensed and environmentally crafted cannabis farm located in Mendocino County, CA. It is here he developed a deep understanding of living soil and the science of organic farming in a greenhouse under the sun. As the founder and principal consultant at Golden Ocean Solutions Mike’s main goal is to make his clients more successful. Wether this takes on the form of launching a new business, or helping an existing one improve and optimize its current operations, Mike is there with the experience to diagnose problems and implement solutions. Golden Ocean Solutions integrates proprietary cannabis operating procedures and cultivation design that have been in development for nearly 2 decades, with trusted advisement on business development associated with current market trends and future growth dynamics. Along with Mike, we have a team of talented sub-contractors to help support your growth in today’s evolving market.

Courtney Lang is a California-based consultant specializing in cannabis real estate, licensing, and business development. She partners with businesses and leadership to build the foundation of a successful company. In addition to her cannabis background, Courtney offers her clients over ten years of experience working in the natural foods industry for several small to medium sized companies. She has helped form large teams, develop and execute strategic plans and grassroots marketing campaigns, create company-wide policies and procedures, and manage boards and stakeholder groups.
